‘Nasser Djiga is not good enough – Why was he in Rangers team vs Roma?’
Nasser Djiga has been nothing short of a failure since arriving at Rangers.
Rangers signed Djiga on loan from Wolves, but the Burkina Faso international has never looked assured next to John Souttar, under both Russell Martin and Danny Rohl.
Djiga has failed on the big stage, massively struggling in the Champions League qualifiers and looking nervous again in the Rangers defeat against Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday.
Despite that, Rohl named the Wolves loanee in his side against Roma in the Europa League at Ibrox on 6 November, in what was a must-win game.
Tom English was one of those who was shocked by that news, and he was soon proved right.

Nasser Djiga simply not good enough at Rangers
English believes that it was a solid Roma team on paper, but they were missing more than enough quality for those in blue to take advantage at Ibrox, except for Djiga.
Speaking live on BBC Sportsound on 6 November, the journalist could not believe what he was reading on the teamsheet, like many Rangers fans.
“I worry, like everybody would worry, about Djiga,” English said.
“I don’t know why he’s in the team, I don’t think he’s good enough.”

He would soon be proven right, much to the disgust of the Ibrox crowd again.
Djiga was at fault for first Roma goal vs Rangers
It took only 13 minutes for Matias Soule to open the scoring at Ibrox.
Steven Thompson spotted that it was Djiga who lost his man far too easily as the Argentine ghosted in at the back post unattended to poke home a flick on from Bryan Cristante.
It is not as though Rohl didn’t have other options on the bench, either, with Derek Cornelious looking slightly better since he also signed on loan.
Even Emmanuel Fernandez could have been worth a try, but Djiga must be doing something right in training each day at Auchenhowie.
Rangers are halfway to making it four defeats from four, with the score at 2-0, with qualification hopes in the bin already.
