Rangers look like they will progress under Danny Rohl, but the head coach is at a disadvantage with his current striker situation.

But yet again, the game showed just how much the Gers are struggling in the striker department, as Rohl has a massive job on his hands to get Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti firing for the Bears.

Chermiti has come under fire since arriving at Rangers, as Miovski has been no better.
In the summer, Hamza Igamane, Cyriel Dessers, and Vaclav Cerny all left Rangers, with the lack of quality attackers being clear to see at Ibrox.

Current statistics indicate that unless Rangers’ strikers significantly improve their goal-scoring output, there will be a massive drop in goals from forwards compared to last season.
If Mivoski, Danilo, and Chermiti continue their current rate of scoring goals in the Scottish Premiership, they are projected to score only 22 goals by the time they reach 101 games.
A 20-goal difference from last season.
However, there is still one man who is now starting to show a new lease of life under Rohl.

Danilo is a glimmer of hope for Rangers
Danilo looks like a man transformed under Rohl, as all hope may not be lost on Rangers having a clinical striker this season after all.
The Brazilian was brought to Ibrox from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2023, and has 15 goals in 63 games for the Bears so far.
Now, Danilo is showing his promise for Rangers, averaging a 43-minute per goal ratio in his last three games, excluding the Celtic match, according to Sofascore.
He played just 46 minutes against Celtic, and will be relishing the opportunity to start in Rangers’ game against Roma in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Rohl has a reputation for improving his players, as Danilo could be the next revelation for the Gers.
