Youssef Chermiti fate in Rangers starting XI vs Hibernian set in stone after Ibrox nonsense
Youssef Chermiti will hope to start for Rangers against Hibernian in the William Hill Premiership on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old scored his first goal for the Gers as Danny Rohl’s team beat Kilmarnock in their previous league fixture at home.
Chermiti’s move to Ibrox raised a lot of eyebrows in the summer, with the Portugal Under-21 international costing the Light Blues £8million from Everton, but fans will now want to see him kickstart his career in G51.
Bojan Miovski has failed to live up to expectations at the Glaswegian outfit, and while the North Macedonia international hasn’t done much to warrant a start against Hibs on 29 October, the German manager may have no choice.

Youssef Chermiti set for hostile reception from Rangers fans vs Hibernian
Chermiti’s reputation isn’t the best at the Gers because of his price tag, and the striker hasn’t done himself any favours by putting in consistently poor displays this season.
Fans have every right to question Kevin Thelwell regarding the significant layout on the Portuguese youngster, as he hadn’t scored or assisted in his two years at Goodison Park.
The former Everton chief was the one who signed the centre-forward at the Merseyside outfit and then decided to reunite with him at Ibrox.
Chermiti’s celebration after scoring against Kilmarnock hasn’t gone down well with many, with the forward seemingly taking aim at his detractors by making a talking gesture.

Speaking to the media about the striker’s actions, Rohl said: “A celebration after a goal is always important. But you have to understand how you celebrate sometimes. We’ve spoken about this, and I think he knows what he has to do next time.”
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the former Everton ace receive a bit of a hostile reception from travelling supporters at Easter Road after his arguably disrespectful celebration at Ibrox.
Danilo to find Ibrox reprieve under Danny Rohl
Danilo could potentially become Rohl’s first-choice number nine, with the Brazilian attacker putting in an impressive performance against Kilmarnock.
Rangers have lacked someone capable of linking up play at the top, but the 26-year-old may be the solution to their problems.

Danilo’s link-up play has always been recognised by various managers at the Gers, but his consistent fitness issues have hindered his progress.
Chermiti’s exclusion from the starting lineup against Hibs should be set in stone after his actions at Ibrox, paving the way for Miovski and Danilo to start together again.
