James McFadden blown away by ‘magnificent’ Rangers scenes vs Hibernian
Rangers got off to a dream start against Hibernian on Wednesday, as they went into the break 1-0 up.
Danny Rohl was looking to build on Rangers’ 3-1 win over Kilmarnock and continue his side’s rise up the Scottish Premiership table.
Rohl had made five changes to Rangers’ starting line-up from that victory for the trip to Easter Road on 29 October.
The likes of Nasser Djiga and Max Aarons started, and Youssef Chermiti was also handed an opportunity to impress.

Danilo leaves James McFadden stunned with early Rangers exploits
Danilo was on the periphery under Russell Martin, but Rohl seems to trust the 26-year-old much more than the ex-Southampton man.
That faith paid off as he opened the scoring with a stunning curling effort from just outside the penalty area to give the Gers the lead, just five minutes into the contest.
Ex-Scotland striker James McFadden could not believe what he had witnessed, as the Light Blues star put his side ahead.
Speaking live on Sky Sports (19:51 pm), he said: “This first touch from Danilo, fires it beyond Salinger.
“It’s magnificent from Danilo.”

Rohl revolution is on the cards at Rangers
Since coming through the Ibrox door, Rohl has got almost everything right so far.
He has adhered to the traditions that Martin disregarded so easily, such as wearing suits on the sidelines with brogues, and as a result, he has endeared himself to the supporters already.
- Rohl came to the Gers with a great reputation from his time with Sheffield Wednesday
- He won 34 of the 89 matches that he managed for the Hillsborough outfit
- He has won one of his two matches in charge so far
He has also shown a willingness to engage with supporters about the issues in Govan, showing transparency, which Martin did not.
The Gers support could be heard singing his name after the early strike, and he seems to have the Light Blues back on track after a grim period in G51, which saw Martin sacked after just four months in charge.
Perhaps most importantly, he looks to be getting the best out of the strikers at his disposal, with Danilo having two goals in two matches, Chermiti finally scoring last time out and Bojan Miovski also causing problems for defences.
It is an encouraging start, he just needs his side to hold on to their lead against a very good Hibs side, and the feel-good factor will continue on the blue half of Glasgow.
