Rangers player ratings vs Kilmarnock – 8/10 star sensational, Jack Butland almost costs his team
Danny Rohl recorded his first victory as Rangers manager with a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday.
The German took charge of the Govan outfit for the first time in midweek, when they suffered a crushing 3-0 defeat away at Brann in the Europa League.
It was a different story for Rohl and Rangers against Kilmarnock, as goals from Derek Cornelius, Danilo and Youssef Chermiti were enough to secure all three points on home turf.
The Gers turned in a promising performance throughout the 90 minutes, and with that in mind, Ibrox News rates the displays of every single Rangers player.

Jack Butland has a shocker for Rangers
Jack Butland made an excellent start for Rangers this season, as he starred in their Champions League qualifying campaign, but his performances since then have left a lot to be desired.
It was a similar story for the 32-year-old on Sunday afternoon, as he made a scandalous error to hand the visitors a crucial equaliser midway through the first half.
The goalkeeper raced off his line to try and punch away a Kilmarnock corner, only to fail to make any sort of contact with the delivery, allowing George Stanger an easy finish at the back post.
The veteran didn’t have a lot to do throughout the afternoon, but he let his team down in a vital moment of the game, which will surely have left Rohl seething.

Butland’s appalling error was an eye-catching moment in the game and could easily have cost his team on another day, and his performance was worthy of just a 3/10 rating as a result.

Mohamed Diomande sensational in win vs Kilmarnock
Mohamed Diomande has struggled badly for Rangers so far this season, but he reminded everyone of what he is capable of with a sensational display against Kilmarnock.
The Ivory Coast international was superb in the middle of the park all afternoon, as he showed flashes of excellent quality on the ball while working tirelessly out of possession.
| Touches | 47 |
| Accurate Passes | 32/37 (86%) |
| Key Passes | 1 |
| Chances Created | 1 |
| Accurate Crosses | 2/3 (66%) |
| Duels Won | 4/5 (80%) |
Diomande won 80 per cent of his duels throughout the afternoon at Ibrox and made four defensive contributions for his team during his 62 minutes on the pitch.
His energy drove his team forward on several occasions, and he certainly seized the opportunity that was handed to him by Rohl, with the decision to substitute him likely down to his recent lack of football.

The 23-year-old was a standout performer for the Gers in their victory and is worthy of an 8/10 rating as a result.
