Rangers injury and suspension latest as five definitely ruled out vs Brann
Rangers take on Brann in the Europa League on Thursday evening in Danny Rohl’s first game in charge.
Brann are the favourites to beat Rangers as they sit three points better off than the Gers after the first two rounds of matches.
Rohl was only unveiled as Rangers manager on Tuesday, meaning very little preparation time for this trip to Norway.
Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Rohl could tinker with Rangers’ starting lineup against Brann, but he will be without a handful of players at the very least.

Mohamed Diomande a fitness doubt for Rangers
Rangers drew 2-2 with Dundee United in their most recent game, with Steven Smith the man overseeing that league match.
Mohamed Diomande sustained a knock in that match and is therefore considered doubtful to featured against Brann.
Beyond Diomande, five others will definitely miss out at Stadion Brann, including Dujon Sterling and Rabbi Matondo.
Nedim Bajrami, Clinton Nsiala and Kieran Dowell are also ineligible for Rangers, having not been named in the European squad for the league phase.

Brann have problems of their own as Saevar Atli Magnusson and Felix Horn Myhre are ruled out, while Jonas Torsvik, Niklas Castro and Sakarias Opsahl are all doubtful.
Brann have won three of their latest four games and have only lost two out of their past 11. They have also won five home matches in a row and are third in their domestic league.

Rangers’ Europa League results so far
After failing to qualify for the Champions League, and given the bloated nature of the Europa League, Rangers fans were quietly confident of advancing in this competition.
However, Rangers were beaten 1-0 at home to Genk in their opening match and then lost 2-1 away to Sturm Graz – both those games coming under Russell Martin.
| Date | Fixture | Venue |
| 25 September | Rangers 0-1 Genk | Ibrox |
| 2 October | Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers | Merkur Arena |
| 23 October | Brann vs Rangers | Stadion Brann |
| 6 November | Rangers vs Roma | Ibrox |
| 27 November | Rangers vs Braga | Ibrox |
It leaves Rangers on zero points after two rounds of games, and therefore in desperate need of a result against Brann.
Rohl‘s men then take on Roma and Braga in back-to-back matches in Ibrox, so fingers crossed there is plenty to play for when those games roll around next month.
