Danny Rohl seen shouting at Rangers HQ as noticeable change already spotted
Rangers fans have lots to look forward to in the coming weeks now that Danny Rohl has finally been appointed.
Rohl’s appointment at Ibrox has lifted spirits in Glasgow, as fans hope that Rangers might yet keep their season alive.
In Rohl’s first press conference on Tuesday, Kevin Thelwell and Andrew Cavenagh were quizzed on controversial decisions they’ve made in recent times, with a large focus being on signings and the shocking appointment and subsequent sacking of Russell Martin.
With Martin now in the past, and Rohl at the helm, the Bears can only look forward to things getting better, starting with a showdown against Brann on Thursday evening in the Europa League.

Danny Rohl ‘animated’ in first Rangers training session
Rohl signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at Rangers, as the promising German coach looks to offer something different for the Bears.
Sky Sports News reporter Adam Binnie detailed live on air the promising scenes he witnessed from Auchenhowie during Rohl’s training session on Wednesday, with the German not afraid to get stuck in.
Binnie said: “He looked lively and animated. I’ve been to a lot of these media training sessions and usually managers stand in the centre-circle with their hands folded, but Danny Rohl was really involved.
“He was shouting at his players and leading the session. You’re definitely getting a head coach rather than a manager.”
- Russell Martin was criticised for his approach with Rangers players
- Danny Rohl survived relegation twice with Sheffield Wednesday
- Rangers fans can now expect a higher intensity from their Rangers team with Rohl
Rohl demands high standards, and that was seen at Sheffield Wednesday, when he somehow managed to keep the Owls up on two occasions despite a financial crisis.

The hands-on approach that Rohl seems to be taking in training sessions is exactly what Rangers need, as the Gers only need to do one thing against Brann on Thursday.
Rangers will already have one eye on Celtic
For too long, Gers fans have seen a lethargic and slow Rangers team that has plenty of the ball, but does nothing with it.
Rohl needs to get Rangers firing, and quick, and the detail spotted in training sessions shows that the Gers will most likely go for the attack early on against Brann.
An early goal would be crucial for Rangers, as confidence needs to be lifted. How crucial would a win against Brann be?
Rangers have an Old Firm derby coming up in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final – Rohl will undoubtedly have one eye on that already – and a win against Brann will potentially set them up for silverware glory.
