Kris Boyd fumes at Youssef Chermiti after what he saw live from Ibrox in Rangers draw vs Dundee Utd
Youssef Chermiti has left Kris Boyd infuriated after Rangers’ 2-2 draw with Dundee United on Saturday.
Thelo Aasgaard’s first Rangers goal put the Govan outfit ahead midway through the first half, before the visitors turned the tide and gained a 2-1 lead in the second period.
Nevertheless, captain James Tavernier popped up with a crucial goal in the 87th minute to secure a point for the Gers and extend their unbeaten Premiership run to three games.
There were plenty of positives to be taken from the performance, but Chermiti is still continuing to baffle with his displays.

Kris Boyd slams Youssef Chermiti signing at Rangers
Chermiti has had a difficult start at Rangers since his £8million move from Everton in the latter stages of the summer transfer window, and he frustrated once again this weekend.
The attacker was introduced by interim boss Steven Smith in the 71st minute, but completed just three accurate passes throughout his cameo at Ibrox.
He recorded just nine touches during his time on the pitch at Ibrox, with only one of those coming in the opposition’s box, which is damning considering that the Gers were chasing the game when he came on.
Chermiti is still waiting for his first goal since his move, and former Rangers striker Boyd hasn’t held back in terms of his view of the 21-year-old.
“I hate to say it, but I don’t see what Chermiti brings, I really don’t,” Boyd said on Sky Sports.

“I know he’s a young boy trying to forge a career for himself, but for £8m you have got to come up here and rip it up. You have got to be the best player in the league at that price tag. He doesn’t even get in the Rangers team.”

Kevin Thelwell has failed drastically with Youssef Chermiti signing
The scrutiny on Kevin Thelwell is rapidly increasing at Rangers, and Chermiti’s lack of impact is only going to pile more pressure on the transfer chief in the coming weeks.
The 51-year-old will be familiar with the Portuguese from their time at Everton, and that is arguably an even more damning reflection on the quality of the signing.
Chermiti has shown next to nothing since coming through the door at Ibrox, and to have laid out a fee that made him the Gers’ second most expensive buy of all time, it looks like it will go down as a disastrous piece of business.
Thelwell’s work in the transfer market left a lot to be desired this summer, but Chermiti might just be his worst deal of the lot.
