Brendan Rodgers makes big admission about new Rangers manager appointment
Brendan Rodgers is preparing to face another new Rangers manager in the near future.
The Celtic boss has seen Rangers go through six managers since he returned to Glasgow in June 2023, including the likes of Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson.
Rangers sacked Russell Martin earlier this month after just one Scottish Premiership win in his first seven league matches.
The Ibrox search for a new boss seems to be reaching a conclusion, and Rodgers is relishing the new challenge.

Brendan Rodgers makes new admission about Rangers job
Rangers look set to appoint Kevin Muscat as their new manager, with a deal in place for the Australian to join his former club after the Chinese Super League season is over.
Rodgers was asked about the appointment in an interview with Sky Sports on 17 October, and he shared a big admission.
The Hoops boss said (15:49 pm): “What is important for us is that we focus on ourselves, and continue our way and we know we have lots of improvements to make and developments on and off the pitch.
“Every manager that comes in is a new challenge and we accept whoever comes in as that next challenge.”
Muscat can be the man to get the better of Rodgers’ Celtic
Muscat comes with an exciting brand of football, and has experience of the Scottish game having played for the Gers in the 2002-03 campaign.
He is a proven winner in Asia and Australia, just like former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, who took Scotland by storm when he arrived.
- Muscat has won five league titles as a manager
- He could be set to win a sixth Championship with his current side
- The 52-year-old has also won three cups in his career on the sidelines
The hope in Govan will be that Muscat can do the same, and any supporters tuning into his Shanghai Port’s side’s 4-3 win over Qingdao Hainiu on Friday will have been encouraged.
Rodgers has won the last two league titles since he returned to the Scottish game, and the Light Blues are desperate to overhaul him.
Muscat could be the man to do that, and bring the Bears back to the top of the table, although it might not be this season, as the Gers are currently nine points off their city rivals and 11 behind leaders Hearts.
