Rangers next manager roundup: Kevin Muscat staff lined up as big payment needed

Rangers will have to wait for Muscat appointment

Rangers may have to wait if Muscat is their man to replace Martin.

The 52-year-old reportedly wants to remain with his current club until the Chinese Super League campaign is over, as they are two points clear with four games remaining.

The Hearts & Hand Podcast took to X on 14 October to explain the situation, saying: “Muscat with McCann as assistant seems to be gathering pace. I’d feel more comfortable if he was arriving as soon as possible rather than seeing out the Chinese season (ends 22 November). We have a lot of big games coming up.”
