Barcelona manager Hansi Flick knows what Rangers-linked Danny Rohl is all about after spending time together at the German national team.
The Gers are back in the hunt for a new head coach after Steven Gerrard turned down the opportunity to return to Ibrox.
Rohl is now a candidate to replace Russell Martin, with the former Sheffield Wednesday manager also on the Light Blues’ shortlist in the summer.
The 36-year-old may be the perfect person to stabilise the ship at the Glaswegian outfit, with his work in South Yorkshire catching a lot of people’s attention.

Flick, who won the treble with Bayern Munich in the 2019-20 season, commended Rohl for the togetherness between the team and fans at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls’ former head coach played a pivotal role in turning the fortunes around in Hillsborough, helping them avoid relegation and transform into a mid-table EFL Championship outfit in a remarkably short time.
Rohl’s appointment at Ibrox may be the perfect fit, with supporters currently angry and concerned about the direction the Glaswegian outfit are going in.
Speaking via the Daily Record, the relatively young head coach said: “Flick was impressed by the supporters and the togetherness we showed in the game. This is really special, the link between the fans and the team. He said our team is well-organised, and it was very nice to have him in the stands.”

Rohl had to deal with multiple issues at Sheffield Wednesday, and despite the Owls’ financial issues under Dejphon Chansiri’s ownership, the former assistant manager of the German national team impressed many.
