Rangers have Mikey Moore clarity as huge update emerges from Tottenham
Mikey Moore has found it difficult to adapt to life at Rangers in the early weeks of his loan spell.
The 18-year-old has notched just one assist from his opening 10 outings for the Gers, and that came in the win over Alloa Athletic in the Premier Sports Cup way back in August.
Moore’s impact at Rangers so far has been criticised on several occasions of late, with former striker Kris Boyd left incensed by his inability to stay onside during the recent draw with Falkirk.
The Tottenham loanee is being heavily scrutinised at Ibrox, given the hefty reputation that he carries as a promising young player, and that has led to suggestions that he could potentially be recalled in January.

Tottenham have no ‘immediate plans’ to recall Mikey Moore
Russell Martin’s dismissal at Rangers could potentially bring a shake-up within the squad and have a knock-on effect on the likes of Moore.
The winger has struggled to find his feet in the Premiership since he arrived, and is struggling to have a positive impact on games at the moment.
Moore’s position in Govan has been called into question in recent weeks, both from a Rangers perspective and that of his parent club, but an update from North London has provided clarity on the situation.
It has now emerged that Tottenham and Thomas Frank have no “immediate plans” to recall him during the January transfer window, according to the Evening Standard.

There are a number of clubs in the English Championship who are showing an interest in taking the starlet, but for now at least, Spurs are happy to let him fulfil the remainder of his spell north of the border.
Rangers have to find gametime for Findlay Curtis
The latest update on Moore’s situation at Rangers is undoubtedly bad news for academy graduate Findlay Curtis.
- Curtis has nine three goals from nine games in all competitions this season
- He is one of Rangers’ brightest hoemgrown talents at the moment
- He has played just 35 minutes of league football all season, and is yet to start a game
The 19-year-old had a phenomenal impact during his side’s ill-fated Champions League qualifying campaign, as he netted a stunner in the home win over Panathinaikos at the end of July.
Curtis then struck a similarly important equaliser to save his team at St Mirren in August, and his performances have suggested that he is deserving of more football than he received under Martin.
The youngster has played just 35 minutes in the Premiership all season, and having fallen behind Moore in the pecking order, will certainly be concerned to see that his counterpart is likely to be sticking around beyond January.
His development was stifled by Moore during Martin’s tenure, and he will be hoping that the same thing doesn’t play out when a new man takes the reins.
