What on earth is Russell Martin doing as Rangers starting XI confirmed vs Falkirk
Russell Martin is clearly out of his depth as Rangers face Falkirk in the William Hill Premiership on Sunday.
Falkirk Stadium hosts Martin’s team on 5 October, with the Gers set to play under decent conditions despite Storm Amy running rampant recently.
The Scottish manager should have left after losing to Sturm Graz in Merkur-Arena in the Europa League, but it looks like the hierarchy still have faith in him.
No matter what the result in FK2, the Glaswegian outfit should look to hire a new head coach during the international break, as things have only gotten worse under the former Southampton boss.

Nasser Djiga and Joe Rothwell get Rangers start vs Falkirk
Martin has made four changes to the Gers side that started against Sturm Graz, with Nasser Djiga and Joe Rothwell making the starting lineup.
Mikey Moore and Bojan Miovksi have also made their way into the team at the expense of Oliver Antman and Youssef Chermiti.
It’s shocking to see Jayden Meghoma on the bench, with Djiga, who has arguably been in poor form, being trusted by the Scottish manager.
As for Rothwell, the former Southampton boss has preferred him in the number six position this season, playing Nicolas Raskin out of position, and a similar prospect against Falkirk may be devastating for the Light Blues.

Martin has turned the Ibrox faithful apathetic, and he should resign, as fans now want to see the Glaswegian outfit lose under his leadership so they can call for his exit.
The ex-Saints boss looks clueless as he continues to make the same mistakes that have seen them drop multiple points this season.
Ibrox showdown needed between Russell Martin and players
Martin has consistently blamed the players at Ibrox for the Light Blues’ failures, while failing to take any responsibility for his own shortcomings.
Rangers fans have tolerated the Scottish manager’s antics for far too long, and there may be no way back for him in G51.

While most of the new signings have underwhelmed under the 39-year-old head coach, the Glaswegian outfit would undoubtedly perform better under a different manager.
The Gers are better than what they’ve shown so far in the current campaign, and changing managers could certainly go a long way in turning things around at Ibrox.
