Cornelius provided the assist for the Gers’ opener against Falkirk, playing an impressive cross between the opposition’s defence.

The Canada international deputised at left-back in the 2-1 loss to Sturm Graz in the Europa League and replaced Jayden Meghoma in that position from the get-go in FK2.

While the Glaswegian outfit have now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 23 away games, the Olympique Marseille loanee can leave with his head held high against the Bairns.

Nicolas Raskin to be ashamed after Falkirk performance

Martin played Nicolas Raskin out of position against Falkirk, and the Scottish manager definitely made a mistake in doing so.

With Connor Barron and Rothwell playing in a double pivot, the Belgium international had more freedom further up the pitch, but was unable to do much.

The 24-year-old also gave the ball away cheaply on several occasions and failed to establish himself as the link between the midfield and attack, leaving the Scottish manager with more questions to answer about his future.
