Russell Martin must be sacked as supercomputer predicts Rangers humiliation
Russell Martin should be sacked before things get worse at Rangers after losing 2-1 to Sturm Graz in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Scottish manager has lost his last five European matches in charge of the Gers, and the Austrian outfit further exposed the failures in G51.
Sturm Graz came out on top at Merkur Arena on 2 October, leaving the former Southampton boss with more questions to answer at the Light Blues.
Martin’s dismissal feels inevitable at Ibrox, and the Glaswegian outfit would be well served to find a replacement immediately.

Rangers expected to be knocked out of Europa League
After losing to Sturm Graz and accumulating zero points from their first two league phase matches, the Gers sit 32nd in the Europa League table.
As things stand, the Light Blues won’t qualify for the next stage of the competition, and it doesn’t look like their prospects are expected to get any better at Ibrox.
Opta’s supercomputer has predicted that the Light Blues will finish 34th in Europe, accumulating approximately six points from eight matches, which will undoubtedly be humiliating for them.

In the previous campaign, the Glaswegian outfit beat Fenerbahce to make it to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, but a similar feat may not be possible as long as Martin is in the dugout.
Russell Martin replacement: Steven Gerrard the right choice
Andrew Cavenagh should work on bringing Steven Gerrard back to Ibrox, with the Englishman arguably the right candidate to turn things around in G51.
The Liverpool icon won the Scottish Premiership with the Gers, ending their 10-year wait for the trophy.
While fans weren’t pleased that he left the Light Blues midway through the season to join Aston Villa, all will be forgotten if he can turn things around.

Sean Dyche has also been linked with Rangers, but it remains to be seen whether his defensive approach to the game will be appealing to the decision-makers.
Change is undoubtedly needed in the Glaswegian outfit’s dugout, but when that will happen remains to be seen.
