Met Office issue weather warning for Scotland – Will it affect Livingston vs Rangers?

Rangers are back in Scottish Premiership action on Sunday as they travel to Livingston.

Russell Martin faces enormous pressure ahead of the trip to Livi, as the Bears sit 11th in the league.

Andrew Cavenagh has been asked to sack Martin after the 1-0 defeat to Genk in the Europa League, as the mood around Ibrox has reached an all-time low.

Their opponents, Livingston, sit ninth in the table, and have struggled so far this season, having already played Celtic, Hearts, and Hibernian.

With Rangers in search of their first Scottish Premiership win, Ibrox News has listed all the information you need to know ahead of the match.

Mild rain won’t affect Livingston vs Rangers

With Autumn starting, conditions across Scotland are likely to have more of an impact on Scottish Premiership games.

It’s expected to be 15 degrees Celsius during the match, whilst showers of rain around Glasgow are unlikely to reach West Lothian on Sunday.

It has been a tough start to the season for both sides, and luckily, torrential showers won’t affect the game in a contest where three points are a must for Rangers.

Rangers lost 2-0 to Hearts in their last league match, and now Martin must guide the Bears to victory against a team which they haven’t lost to since 2018.

Livi boss David Martindale is looking to turn the tide around in West Lothian by claiming a famous win against the Light Blues.
