Hamza Igamane expected to dish out more dirt on Rangers exit after stark Ibrox admission
Hamza Igamane’s Ibrox departure was one of the big talking points during the summer transfer window.
Igamane left Rangers in a controversial manner, with the 22-year-old striker moving to Lille.
Igamane refused to train with the first team and even refused to come on during Rangers‘ 1-1 draw with St. Mirren on August 24.
The transfer saga definitely impacted the squad, with striker replacements Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti joining the club following his departure.
Igamane scored two goals on his Lille debut and is pleased that he managed to secure a move away from Ibrox.

This story includes exclusive comments from Gers icon Derek Ferguson.
Unhappy Hamza Igamane forced his way out of Rangers
Igamane came to Rangers to replace loan star Abdallah Sima, and the Morocco international did not disappoint.
Having joined from FAR Rabat, not much was known or to be expected from the young talent, yet he stepped up brilliantly.
His stunning winner in the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park will long live in the memories of Rangers supporters in the ground.

However, his exit from the club turned incredibly sour, as he begged for a move to France all summer.
Instead of remaining professional and letting the negotiations fall into place, Igamane feigned injury during the St. Mirren match, leaving Russell Martin with an enormous headache as Rangers chased the three points.
If Igamane ever plays at Ibrox again, the reception for the striker will be more than unpleasant.
Speaking earlier this month, Igamane implied he was glad to have swapped Scotland for France in a stark admission, believing he now has more room to thrive.
Those comments did not go down well with everyone, but speaking exclusive to Ibrox News, Ferguson defended Igamane‘s right to speak out and suggested there could be more revelations to come.
“You could always tell he was not enjoying himself in Scotland. Maybe Glasgow didn’t suit him?” Ferguson said.
“He’s spoken in interviews and there’ll be more said, but he’s fine to voice his opinion. You could tell from the boy’s body language that something wasn’t quite right.
“The whole feigning an injury wasn’t a great look, and an exit was always the most likely option. It’s a shame, but I have no problem with him voicing his opinion.”

Bojan Miovski must step up after Hamza Igamane’s departure
Miovski joined Rangers from Girona for a fee that could rise to £4.2m.
On the surface, this seems to be one of Rangers’ best summer signings despite the fact he hasn’t scored in first his two games.
- Miovski scored 10 goals for MTK Budapest in 2021/22, earning himself a move to Aberdeen
- Over two years at Pittodrie, he scored 44 goals in 92 appearances
- He joined Girona last season but failed to get consistent game time in Spain
Miovski looks to be preferred over Chermiti, and the North Macedonian’s record in Scotland certainly shows that he can improve on Igamane’s tally of 16 last season.
