David Edgar calls out Jim White after what he said in Rangers debate on talkSPORT
Russell Martin has been an abject failure at Rangers, with many fans calling for his sacking at Ibrox.
The Gers have endured their worst start to a league campaign since 1978 under the Scottish manager after losing to Hearts in the William Hill Premiership on 13 September.
Supporters have seemingly had enough of the 39-year-old head coach’s mediocrity and are demanding an immediate change in the dugout.
It looks like the Ibrox hierarchy have already started looking for Martin’s replacement, which just goes to show the power of fans in today’s day and age.

Jim White mocks Rangers fan media for Russell Martin questions
Jim White took a sly dig at the Gers’ fan media as calls for Martin’s sacking grow in G51.
The talkSPORT broadcaster seemingly mocked some members of the fan media for being allowed to sit with “real journalists” and speak with the manager in post-match interviews.
David Edgar didn’t take kindly to Whites’ demeaning tone, taking a sly dig at him for being “Paxmanesque”, a term coined on Jeremy Paxman, known for his somewhat confrontational interviewing style.
The Heart & Hand Podcast wrote on X on 16 September: “Well, we’ve never asked someone ‘why are you so good’ so we can only but dream of achieving the level of searing Paxmanesque incisiveness Jim frequently displayed.”

Ibrox faithful have every right to demand Russell Martin change
Martin has continued to make mistakes at Ibrox and appears to be too rigid regarding his style of play at the Gers, which clearly isn’t working.
The whole fiasco between the Scottish manager and Nicolas Raskin has also been frustrating, with the Light Blues’ best player not even in the matchday squad for the last two matches.
While the former Southampton boss would’ve hoped to be given time to implement his ideas at the Glaswegian outfit, he doesn’t seem like the right person for the job.

Andrew Cavenagh may be backing Martin for now, but the situation has already become tenuous.
Supporters had to spend their valuable money and time just to see the Gers embarrassingly lose to Club Brugge in the Champions League play-off, with the 9-1 defeat on aggregate their joint-worst in Europe.
Fans haven’t seen anything to suggest that the Scottish manager is capable of turning things around and deserve answers for the issues at Ibrox.
