Jamie O’Hara vehemently disagrees with Rangers fan in Russell Martin sack rant
Russell Martin has seen the Rangers fans overwhelmingly turn against him after losing to Hearts on Saturday.
The Gers boss is under pressure as Hearts picked up a 2-0 win at Ibrox on 13 September, extending the Scottish manager’s winless league run to five games this season.
Hearts fans chanted for Martin’s sack during the loss, and the home supporters also joined in, showcasing the lack of faith in him in G51.
The 39-year-old head coach’s dismissal at the Glaswegian outfit feels inevitable, but there may be a disagreement over when that should happen.

Rangers should sack Russell Martin immediately
Martin shouldn’t be in charge of the Gers after losing to Hearts, Jamie O’Hara says.
The talkSPORT pundit called for the Scottish manager’s immediate sacking at Ibrox when one fan suggested there may be a change in the dugout by Halloween, which is at the end of October.
O’Hara seems adamant about the former Southampton boss’ dismissal from the Glaswegian outfit as they’ve been “absolutely terrible” under him.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 13 September, the ex-Tottenham midfielder said: “He’s got to go now, mate. He’s got to go. Forget Halloween. He’s got to go now. I think you’re being very generous. He’s got to go now. You’re absolutely terrible.”

Kevin Thelwell should follow Russell Martin out of door at Ibrox
Kevin Thelwell should also be under pressure at Ibrox after what’s transpired at the Gers in recent months.
The former Everton sporting director was heavily involved in appointing the Scottish manager at the Light Blues and backed him in the previous transfer window.
While Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises have splashed the cash at the Glaswegian outfit, there’s nothing to show for it.
- The Gers are nine points behind Hearts in the league.
- Martin has a 25 per cent win percentage at the Light Blues.
- The Glaswegian outfit have conceded 19 goals under the Scottish manager.
Rangers should consider a change regarding Martin, as they currently sit 10th in the table after five games in the William Hill Premiership.
The situation the Gers find themselves in is unacceptable after their worst start to a league campaign since 1978.
With the disastrous spell under the ex-Saints boss, there should be no doubt about the need for a change in the Ibrox dugout, as he will arguably go down as the most substandard head coach in G51.
