‘Can’t even listen…’ – Former Rangers star caught berating Russell Martin on radio show
Russell Martin is now a deeply unpopular figure among the Rangers fanbase, and many are calling for him to leave his post.
Rangers have suffered their worst start to a season in decades and are yet to win in five Scottish Premiership games under the former Southampton manager.
Club legend Ally McCoist tore into Martin after Rangers were beaten by Hearts, labelling him a “fraud” and demanding that he be dismissed.
Another former Rangers player has also confirmed his stance on the under-fire manager, but he did this inadvertently in an error live on the radio.

Cammy Bell slams Russell Martin
During Rangers’ days in Scottish League One, goalkeeper Cammy Bell had a mixed spell at Ibrox, starting during a promotion season but later costing the Gers in the Scottish Championship playoffs.
Bell has since taken up a role as a pundit on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard and was live on air after Rangers lost to Hearts at Ibrox on 13 September.

With the show about to hit an advert break, presenter Andrew Maclean stated that Martin’s post-match press conference would be up next, and Bell was far from enthused.
Bell must have been under the impression that the adverts had started, and showed his frustration towards Martin with a damning comment.
“I can’t even listen to him, man,” he stated, in a clip now surfacing on social media.

Rangers fans are fed up of Russell Martin
Fans have made their feelings known to Martin, with supporters heavily booing him at Ibrox, and Rangers fans even joined in with Hearts as the visiting contingent chanted “sacked in the morning.”
Several members of the media connected to Rangers, including Kris Boyd, have now called for Martin to go, with there being no argument in favour of keeping him at the club any longer.
Rangers could still salvage a title challenge if they improve immediately, given Celtic’s current crisis, but this is almost certainly not going to happen under Martin.
The ownership and director Kevin Thelwell will start to take a lot more blame if Martin is kept any longer, with the manager refusing to resign despite being out of his depth, and fans are fed up of his excuses and tactics.
