Bojan Miovski perfect for Rangers after emphatic Kelechi Iheanacho claim
Rangers look ready to turn the tide under Russell Martin after signing Bojan Miovski from Girona in the previous transfer window.
The Gers completed an initial deal worth £2.6million, with a further £1.6m in add-ons, for the 26-year-old’s return to the William Hill Premiership.
Mivoski didn’t feature for North Macedonia against Saudi Arabia on 4 September in a friendly fixture between the two countries, and fans in G51 will hope he returns injury-free after the international break.
Celtic have arguably let Martin off the hook, with the Hoops struggling in their own right this season, and the Light Blues will hope to get back into the title race after 13 new additions to the squad.

Rangers have better striker in Bojan Miovski compared to Kelechi Iheanacho
It looks like the Gers pulled off a better move compared to their Old Firm rivals by signing Miovski.
Former Raith Rovers star Gordon Dalziel feels the North Macedonia international is clear of Kelechi Iheanacho in terms of quality right now, with Celtic signing him on a free transfer.
Derek Ferguson believes the former Girona forward’s history in Scotland may give him an edge at Ibrox over the Nigeria international.
Speaking on Open Goal on 4 September, when Si Ferry asked whether Miovski is better than Iheanacho, Dalziel emphatically said: “All day long right now.”
Ferguson added: “He knows the game. He’s been here, he’s done it, and he’s coming back. He’s come back to a bigger club with a bigger history.”

Russell Martin to get back into title race with Bojan Miovski
Despite the significant money spent to sign Youssef Chermiti at Ibrox, Miovski should be the first-choice number nine.
Martin has endured a tough start to the season, with the Gers four points behind Celtic after drawing the first four games in the William Hill Premiership.
The draw in the Old Firm derby showed that the Hoops aren’t any better than the Light Blues, and there should still be some hope in G51 regarding a title race.
- Miovski was a bit-part player at Girona.
- The centre-forward made 17 LaLiga appearances last season.
- In the 2024/25 campaign, the striker scored four goals in all competitions for the Spanish outfit.
With Kevin Thelwell having to secure Martin’s future at Rangers, the Hearts game on 13 September will undoubtedly be influential in determining his deteriorating situation at Ibrox.
Derek McInnes’ team are level on points with Celtic, and the Gers can’t afford to drop any more points this season.
With the Hoops’ transfer business underwhelming, Miovski feels like the perfect addition at Ibrox to help the Light Blues claw their way to the top.
