Last-gasp Nico Raskin exit update shared at Rangers after Ibrox crisis talks
Nico Raskin has been linked with a Rangers exit all summer.
Raskin was absent for Rangers in the Old Firm Derby as the points were shared in a largely dismal affair against Celtic at Ibrox.
The snub of the Belgium international from Russell Martin was backed by the Rangers dressing room as many players were unhappy with the midfielder’s conduct.
This seemingly points towards a last-gasp departure with Crystal Palace and Wolves showing interest in Raskin ahead of the 7pm deadline on 1 September.
With that being said, there is limited time remaining in the window for business to get done, as Martin and Co. have work to do with Raskin in G51.

Nico Raskin could leave Rangers before deadline
There is no getting away with the qualities Raskin possesses, but it appears that his eyes are pointed away from Govan right now.
This has seen reports emerge of an 11th-hour Raskin sale at Rangers, with Ibrox crisis talks said to have been held.
Although that might be the case, there is no guarantee of anything between now and 7pm, something which could even end in the Belgian remaining at Ibrox.
This comes after Gordon Duncan reported to Sky Sports News on 1 September that the ex-Gent man wants to stay beyond the end of the window.
He said: “Keep an eye on the exit door. There’s Cyriel Dessers to Panathinaikos potentially, and of course, the situation regarding Raskin.
“He trained on his own and was left out for the Celtic game, but it looks as though he wants to stay beyond the end of the window.”
It looks like it is going to be a turbulent last few hours of transfer silly season in Govan, with many twists and turns still in the pipeline.

Russell Martin has spoken positively on Nico Raskin
Although the general feeling now is one that Martin wants rid of the Belgian, that didn’t always look to be the case at Ibrox.
In August, the English head coach was left impressed by the midfielder for his show of professionalism and resilience after being dropped from the starting 11.
The former Southampton boss suggested his reaction was “really, really brilliant”, something which has been forgotten in recent weeks.
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens between now and the end of the window, but there is no doubt that it is going to go down to the wire.
