Rangers player ratings vs Celtic – Mikey Moore awful, 8/10 for MOTM
Rangers drew 0-0 with Celtic on Sunday as Russell Martin’s wait for a Scottish Premiership victory goes on.
Both sides struggled for quality in the match, with Rangers aiming to bounce back from their 6-0 defeat to Club Brugge in the week.
Martin’s side thought that they had gone ahead in the first half when John Souttar’s header found the back of the net. However, Rangers’ goal ruled out by VAR due to an offside.
This proved to be the only real chance of the match as the game finished 0-0.

Mikey Moore struggles vs Celtic
Mikey Moore was signed by Rangers on loan from Tottenham in the summer and was given the nod to start in the Old Firm.
However, the winger struggled to make an impact in the derby, with both sides proving to be toothless up top.
While many of Rangers’ front line had disappointing afternoons, Moore often went missing, with the only moment of note being his booking.
Hopefully, as the campaign goes on, the winger will find his form and prove why Martin brought in into Ibrox.

Mohamed Diomande impresses at Ibrox
Coming off the back of a humiliating result in Belgium, it was imperative that Rangers improved defensively against Celtic.
While the attack will be rightly criticised for the lack of threat, defensively, the Gers were solid, and Mohamed Diomande was key to this.
The midfielder won everything in the middle of the park, and ensured that the visitors had few chances.
For a team that was no doubt low on confidence, the clean sheet should give Martin and the squad a much-needed boost.
