Rangers now set to pay eight figures for Youssef Chermiti in Everton talks latest
Everton forward Youssef Chermiti looks set to become a Rangers player in the next 48 hours.
Rangers concluded the signing of Bojan Miovski on Saturday, though they aren’t finished there when it comes to attacking arrivals.
Chermiti has been linked with a move to Ibrox, having failed to make much of an influence throughout his time at Everton.
A move is on the cards for the forward, with a new update emerging on the fee needed to secure his transfer to Glasgow.

This is how much Rangers will have to pay for Youssef Chermiti
It was previously reported that it would cost Rangers £8million to sign Chermiti, though that fee has since increased as talks are progressing.
The Times journalist Paul Joyce reported via X on 30 August that the transfer could be worth upwards of £10m, which would be a substantial financial commitment from the Gers.
It would be the most expensive arrival at Rangers this summer, in what has been a period of change.
At 21 years old, Chermiti has plenty of room to develop, though concerns will emerge from his record since joining the Toffees.
He has featured 24 times across all competitions, failing to find the net once, and has yet to contribute with any assists.
Where would Youssef Chermiti play for Rangers?
If Chermiti arrives, Rangers are certainly going to be well-stocked in the striker department, especially given the fact that they typically only play with one.
Rangers would have Chermiti, Miovski and Dessers all competing for a starting place, though Dessers has been linked with an exit from Rangers.
With that said, Chermiti can also play on the left flank, albeit only having done so on one occasion in his career.
If Rangers are willing to pay an eight-figure fee to land his signature, they clearly see him as someone to lead the line regularly, which could see a change in shape.
Quite frankly, the current shape has brought nothing but embarrassment for the Light Blues, and this could force them into a much-needed change.
