Rangers finalise deal to sign player who’ll go straight into starting XI vs Celtic
Rangers will be desperate to finally kickstart their season on Sunday when they welcome Celtic to Ibrox for the Old Firm derby.
Russell Martin is under massive pressure at Rangers after a poor start to the season, with the Gers drawing all three of their Scottish Premiership fixtures.
Games against Motherwell, Dundee and St. Mirren all finished 1-1, with the visit of Celtic set to be key for the future of the man in the dugout.
Rangers lost 6-0 to Club Brugge on Wednesday, after Max Aarons’ early red card compounded Martin’s woes.
Sunday will present a fresh opportunity to win back the support of the fans, with the Gers already trailing their Glasgow neighbours by six points in the league.

Bojan Miovski set for Rangers debut vs Celtic
Rangers completed the signing of Bojan Miovski on Saturday, with the striker joining on a four-year deal from Girona.
The North Macedonia international has previous in Scotland, having enjoyed a strong stint at Aberdeen before his move to Spain last summer.
Miovski’s arrival follows news that Rangers have sold Hamza Igamane to Lille, with the Ligue 1 club reportedly paying a fee in the region of £10.5million.

Goals have been sorely lacking for Martin’s side in the league campaign so far, with Danilo scoring just one from 10 appearances so far despite playing the bulk of available minutes.
Miovski is expected to go some way to solving that issue, however, with the striker netting 26 in all competitions in his final season at Aberdeen.
And the Scottish Sun reported on 30 August that the 26-year-old is set to go straight into the starting line-up on Sunday.
Celtic had been set to battle Rangers for the signature of Miovski, but the striker will now be lining up in blue against them.
Who will line up alongside Bojan Miovski vs Celtic?
Martin is expected to continue with the options of Djeidi Gassama and Oliver Antman on the wings against Celtic, with the former enjoying a great start to his Rangers career.
The latter bagged an assist on his debut but has appeared to struggle more in recent weeks, with some fans calling on Mikey Moore to be given a chance to start.
The highly-rated 18-year-old joined on loan from Tottenham but was an unused substitute against Club Brugge in midweek.
Either way, it will be excellent to see Miovski line up in blue on the biggest stage.
