Rangers agree mega fee to seal Youssef Chermiti transfer – This is how much they will pay
Rangers are close to signing Everton forward Youssef Chermiti.
Hamza Igamane has left Rangers in a £10.5million deal, joining French side Lille, after shockingly downing tools last weekend.
In response, Bojan Miovski has been confirmed as a Rangers player, with the former Aberdeen star signing a four-year deal at Ibrox.
Chermiti has worked with Rangers chief Kevin Thelwell at Everton, and the duo look set to reunite in Scottish football.

Rangers set to seal deal for Youssef Chermiti
Rangers are set to complete a deadline-busting move for Chermiti, further reinforcing their forward line for Russell Martin after signing Miovski.
A report from the Daily Record on 30 August claims that the Gers are set to sign the Everton star permanently, as opposed to the initial loan deal that was speculated.
It states that the Light Blues will pay £8m for the Portugal Under-21 star.

Russell Martin needs new forwards to start quickly at Rangers
Martin is already under intense sack pressure in Govan, despite only being in the role for nearly three months.
His reign has started miserably with three draws in their opening three league matches and a dismal Champions League exit at the hands of Club Brugge.
Martin needs his new forwards to hit the ground running at Ibrox to have any chance of salvaging his reign in the dugout, with supporters already calling for his sacking.
Season | Appearances | Goals |
2024-25 | 4 | 0 |
2023-24 | 20 | 0 |
There is every chance the Miovski does that, considering his previous record of 30 goals in 72 games in the Scottish Premiership.
However, Chermiti is a more patient case, as he has struggled to get into the senior Everton team, and has not scored in 24 appearances for the Toffees in all competitions.
The fee seems quite steep as a result, but if he adapts quickly to Scottish football and starts scoring goals, then it will be forgotten; but he could become a high-profile flop if he fails to perform.
Given that Scottish football is not as high-paced as the English top-flight, he may find it easier to settle in Govan, especially if Miovski is the main man and he is a backup option.
With Celtic next up on Sunday, it will likely decide whether these new signings will be playing under Martin or somebody else after the international break.
