Kris Boyd wants Rangers to replace Hamza Igamane with Kieron Bowie, but there’s one obstacle
Rangers could potentially have a ready-made replacement for Hamza Igamane in Hibernian striker Kieron Bowie.
The Morocco international’s future at the Gers is up in the air after speculation surrounding his future for most of the ongoing transfer window.
LOSC Lille could sign Igamane in the coming days, with an offer expected to be made quickly.
Russell Martin could also lose Cyriel Dessers before 1 September, leaving the Light Blues in desperate need for attacking reinforcements.

Rangers may have to splash the cash on Kieron Bowie transfer
Bowie may be a target for the Gers if Igamane leaves this summer, Kris Boyd says.
The ex-Bears striker international believes the Light Blues could possibly do something with regards to the 22-year-old Scotland international’s move to Ibrox.
While Boyd has approved the Hibernian attacker’s transfer to the Glaswegian outfit, it may not come cheap after his electric start to the season.
Speaking on Go Ballistic on 25 August, the Scotsman said: “If Igamane goes and Rangers do ask the question to Hibs [about Bowie], it will cost a lot of money because he has started the season really, really well. But he’s someone you would look at, and there’s a potential to maybe do something there.”

Kieron Bowie to Ibrox: What can Russell Martin get from Hibernian striker?
Martin’s full focus will be on Club Brugge right now, with the Gers going into the second leg of the Champions League play-off 3-1 down.
The Scottish manager also has Celtic to worry about on 31 August, making for an exciting few days in G51.
Igamane isn’t 100 per cent fit for the Champions League clash after missing training and undergoing an MRI, as per Sebastien Denis.
- Bowie has scored two league goals in two appearances this season.
- The youngster scored a long-range half-volley from over 30 yards out against Partizan Belgrade in the UECL qualifying round at home.
- The striker’s current contract at Hibernian runs until 2028.
While Martin may have other priorities at Rangers, Bowie should be someone who is on the agenda at Ibrox.
The 22-year-old broke onto the scene in the William Hill Premiership towards the end of last season as Hibs finished third in the league.
With selfless attributes like dedicated work-rate, and the strength and physicality to run at defenders, the Scottish centre-forward could be perfect for Martin.
