Hamza Igamane to pass medical for Rangers exit, Russell Martin confirms
Russell Martin has now revealed that he expects Hamza Igamane to pass his medical ahead of a likely Rangers exit.
The forward has been linked with a move away from Rangers since the start of the summer, and his future took yet another twist against St Mirren on Sunday.
Igamane told Martin that he was injured when the Gers boss tried to introduce him in the second half of the 1-1 draw in Paisley, and that appears to have put the final nail in the coffin regarding his future in Govan.
The Ibrox outfit have had a troubled start to the new Premiership season, and it now appears that they are set to lose a player who should have been key to their season.

Russell Martin expects Hamza Igamane to pass medical for exit
Igamane did not train with Rangers on Tuesday ahead of their Champions League play-off second leg against Club Brugge, as he continues to be linked with a move to French side Lille.
The move is expected to progress quickly in the coming days, and Martin has now made it clear that he expects the Moroccan to have no issues when it comes to passing his medical for the move, according to Chris Jack via X.
There have been reports to suggest that the 22-year-old is genuinely not feeling at 100 per cent ahead of the Brugge clash, but Martin is certainly clear as to how he sees the situation.
The comments from the Gers’ boss suggest that he is adamant that the exit-linked star has not been genuine regarding the situation on his injury, and there is seemingly no way back from that.
Hamza Igamane saga set to reach welcome conclusion for Rangers
Igamane should be embarrassed by his actions at Rangers over the last few days.
He is clearly trying to force through a move, but refusing to be introduced into the action on Sunday was a significant step too far, and understandably appears to be the final straw in the Gers’ eyes.
Martin will undoubtedly be losing a big player from his squad, but this is an issue that has needed sorting at Ibrox all summer, and there will surely be a part of him that is happy to have reached a conclusion to the Igamane saga.
