Bojan Miovski desperately needed at Rangers as transfer details emerge
Russell Martin’s time at Rangers is not getting any easier after another underwhelming matchday.
Rangers salvaged a 1-1 draw against St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership to make it three points from three on Sunday afternoon.
Martin could soon have Bojan Miovski within his ranks after he was told he has no future at his current club, Girona.
Indeed, the Glasgow club could do with Miovski imminently as details of his possible move to Ibrox become clearer ahead of the deadline.

Rangers must sign Bojan Miovski after St Mirren performance
While it is relatively early into his tenure, Martin has several key issues he must fix at Rangers.
Although the 39-year-old has found some salvation in the Champions League, the Scottish Premiership has been a challenge.
Each one of the Light Blues’ league games has ended in a 1-1 draw, with St Mirren the latest side to cause them problems.
What was even more alarming was the fact that Martin started Theo Aasgaard, an attacking midfielder, as his sole striker.
With Cyriel Dessers out and Hamza Igamane claiming he was injured from the bench, the former Southampton boss needs more options.
- Rangers dominated possession against St Mirren (71 per cent)
- Both sides had the same number of shots (17)
- Neither side has won a league game
Given that Miovski is said to be finalising a loan move to Rangers, there should soon be more competition in attack at Ibrox.
Indeed, Tom English called for the North Macedonian forward on 24 August after what he saw at the SMISA Stadium, via BBC Sport.
“There’s talk of them trying to get Bojan Miovski on loan from Girona. Lord, do they need him,” he said.
“If Igamane has downed tools and Danilo is, well, Danilo, then they have precious little up front. Cyriel Dessers is injured. They need a whole lot more. Against St Mirren, they went without a natural centre-forward. It’s a mess.”

Bojan Miovski has Scottish Premiership previous
While his record in Spain has been underwhelming, Miovski does boast an encouraging record in Scotland.
Last season, the 26-year-old bagged just four goals in all competitions, although he cut a peripheral figure at Girona.
Miovski actually started for the La Liga outfit in their opening match of the 2025/26 campaign, but was substituted off in the first half.
The forward joined Girona from Aberdeen last summer, and Rangers will hope he can match his previous exploits in Scotland.
Miovski bagged 44 goals in 98 appearances for Aberdeen, scoring 16 league goals in the 2022/23 campaign.
While Martin has called for the transfer window to close, he needs this deal done if he wants more goals.
