Rangers news round-up: Nicolas Raskin sends message as Nedim Bajrami exit stance emerges
Rangers face a pivotal final few weeks in the transfer market.
The Gers are on the brink of Champions League elimination after a 3-1 defeat on home soil against Club Brugge.
Russell Martin is facing significant sack pressure already and needs to refine his squad before the transfer window slams shut.
Here, Ibrox News rounds up the latest Rangers updates from 21 August.

Derek Ferguson tells Rangers fans how to get Russell Martin sacked
Derek Ferguson has told Rangers supporters how they can get Martin sacked.
The ex-Southampton boss is under major pressure at Ibrox after a dismal start to his reign, in which the Light Blues have won just three of his eight games in charge.
While Ferguson does not believe Martin will be sacked shortly, he thinks that may change if supporters vote with their feet.
Speaking on Open Goal on 21 August, he said: “No. I don’t think they will sack him. But that may change because the fans may change that. Because you’re seeing them leave after 20 minutes.”
Rangers open talks for £4million Hamza Igamane replacement
Rangers have opened talks over a £4million move for Karl Etta Eyong.
A report from Africa Foot on 20 August claims that the Gers are in dialogue with Villarreal for Etta Eyong, who could be a Hamza Igamane replacement.
It states that a loan offer has been turned down, with the Spanish side wanting a permanent sale at a fee of £4.3million.
Nicolas Raskin sends emotional message as Rangers exit confirmed
Nicolas Raskin has led Rangers players’ farewells to Jefte with an emotional message.
The Brazilian left-back has departed Ibrox to join Palmeiras in a £6million deal after 15 months in Govan.
The 21-year-old took to Instagram on 20 August to thank Gers supporters, and Raskin commented, saying: “Thank you, my brother. I love you.”
Rangers’ stance on Nedim Bajrami exit emerges
Rangers would be open to selling Nedim Bajrami, according to a new report from his homeland.
Albanian outlet Gazetablic claims that Bajrami is set to be left out of the squad against St Mirren on Sunday, as he was against Club Brugge last time out.
It states that the 26-year-old is not part of Martin’s plans and will be allowed to leave before the 1 September deadline.
