Expected Findlay Curtis loan destination shared in Rangers exit update
Rangers may be in for a big surprise as Findlay Curtis could leave in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The 18-year-old was the hero as the Gers beat Panathinaikos in the Champions League second qualifying round, scoring an impressive goal in the first leg on 22 July.
Russell Martin has preferred other options up front in recent weeks, but the Scottish youngster came on for a brief cameo against Alloa Athletic in the Premier Sports Cup’s second round at Ibrox and found the back of the net in the 4-2 win.
Despite some influential performances, the winger may not be in the former Southampton boss’ plans for the current campaign.

Rangers look for new forward as Curtis could leave
Curtis is attracting interest from teams in the William Hill Premiership, Joshua Barrie says.
The reliable Scottish journalist revealed that the Gers are looking at attacking reinforcements because there’s a possibility one forward could leave Ibrox before the end of August.
While the Glaswegian outfit have a cooperation agreement with Raith Rovers, Alloa and Stirling Albion, Barrie expects the 18-year-old to join a top-flight outfit on loan.
Speaking on the Rangers Review on 18 August, the journalist said: “On Curtis, I think it depends on what else happens in the striking positions and the forward areas. Rangers are still looking at forwards because there’s potential that one leaves.
“I think there’s interest in Curtis in the Premiership for a loan deal, and I would expect if he does go on a loan, it won’t be part of this co-op agreement, but it will be the top flight.”

Martin risks fan mutiny at Ibrox
Martin seems to trust Kieran Dowell at the Gers, which will undoubtedly not go down well with the supporters.
The Englishman joined Birmingham City on loan in the winter transfer window after failing to make much of an impact at Ibrox.
Despite the 27-year-old proving he isn’t good enough for the Glaswegian outfit over the years, the Scottish manager has decided to put faith in him.
- Dowell made zero goal contributions at the Gers last season.
- Martin has given the forward four starts this season.
- The 27-year-old has provided one assist in six appearances in the current campaign.
Rangers should be developing Curtis, but instead, Martin has been reluctant to give the youngster the necessary opportunities.
The left-winger might not be the first name on the team sheet at the Gers, but he can arguably contribute more than Dowell this season.
Fans certainly won’t be pleased to see the 18-year-old sign for another team on loan, but it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
