Rangers boost as Club Brugge ‘to be without Eberechi Eze replacement’ at Ibrox
Rangers have a massive opportunity to pull off an upset against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Russell Martin’s team will host the Belgian outfit at home on 19 August in the first leg of the play-off, with an opportunity to secure a place in the group stage of the European competition.
The Light Blues are coming off a 4-2 win over Alloa Athletic at Ibrox in the Premier Sports Cup, but they now have a challenging task on their hands against the Jupiler Pro League side.
However, the Glaswegian outfit could potentially receive a massive boost as Nicky Hayen’s team get ready to travel to G51.

Crystal Palace want Christos Tzolis transfer from Brugge before Rangers clash
Brugge star forward Christos Tzolis is being eyed as a replacement for Eberechi Eze by Crystal Palace, according to The Athletic.
The news outlet reports on 17 August that the Eagles want to replace the exit-linked England international with the Belgian outfit’s 23-year-old left-winger this summer.
It’s been claimed that the Premier League club have made an approach for the Greek attacker as Tottenham target Eze.

With talks set to continue between Palace and Brugge for Tzolis, it would be surprising to see them risk the forward at Ibrox.
If the 23-year-old does play against the Gers and picks up an injury, a potential deal to Selhurst Park may fall through.
As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Greek international being left out of the team by Hayen on their trip to Glasgow, which will undoubtedly be a boost for the Light Blues and a delight for Martin.

Martin has Findlay Curtis decision to make vs Brugge
Findlay Curtis’ impressive strike against Panathinaikos in the first leg of the Champions League’s second qualifying round led to plaudits from the Ibrox faithful.
Since then, Martin has been reluctant to give the 18-year-old consistent minutes in the starting lineup, with Djedi Gassama and Oliver Antman being preferred on the wings at Rangers.
The Scottish manager could’ve played the young forward on the right side of attack against Alloa, but instead stuck with Kieran Dowell in the team, which didn’t go down well with many supporters.
With Curtis scoring in the victory against the Scottish League One club, he has made a statement of intent, but Martin may have other ideas when the Gers face Brugge.
