Jefte reaches agreement to seal permanent Rangers exit as London meeting set
Jefte may have played his last-ever Rangers game as he’s reportedly reached a verbal agreement to leave.
Russell Martin may see two of his left-backs leave this summer as Ridvan Yilmaz also appears close to quitting Ibrox.
Max Aarons, who joined on loan from Bournemouth, has been deployed at left-back and could become the first choice if Gers do not sign a replacement.

Jefte reaches agreement to join Palmeiras on five-year contract
According to UOL, Palmeiras have struck a verbal agreement with the 21-year-old over a transfer.
The Brazilian news outlet reported on 13 August that progress has been made in negotiations and he will be signing a five-year contract at the South American club.
Jefte started the second leg against Viktoria Plzen but now appears to be on his way out.
A face-to-face meeting has been scheduled in London on 14 August between the two sides to finalise the transfer.
Palmeiras are confident of completing the signing of Jefte by next week.

Rangers now need to sign a new left-back ASAP
With Jefte on the verge of joining Palmeiras and Yilmaz excluded from Martin’s plans, Rangers face an urgent need to sign a new left-back before the transfer window closes.
Jefte, who started 30 matches last season, is nearing an exit, while Yilmaz, sidelined and linked with a return to Besiktas, has not featured under Martin, leaving the squad critically short at left-back.
Club | Appearances |
Rangers | 56 |
APOEL Nicosia | 33 |
Aarons has struggled when deployed on the left, exposing defensive vulnerabilities, as seen in recent matches.
With only makeshift options like him and potentially Robbie Fraser, Gers risk a defensive crisis that could derail their Premiership title hopes.
Martin must emphasise the need for a new left-back as time is running out.
Swift action is essential to secure a reliable starter and maintain squad balance before the deadline
