Rangers player ratings vs Viktoria Plzen: Lyall Cameron stars, 3/10 star awful
Rangers went through to the next round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers despite losing 2-1 to Viktoria Plzen.
Russell Martin’s side had to avoid a three-goal defeat against their Czech opponents at the Dossan Arena on Tuesday night to qualify for the play-offs.
They did exactly that with Lyall Cameron finding the back of the net for them in the 60th minute.
Cyriel Dessers suffered a serious knee injury and had to be helped off the pitch in the second half.

Lyall Cameron shines in Plzen
Cameron started in the midfield three alongside Mohammed Diomande and Nicolas Raskin and it’s fair to say that he was the best player on the pitch.
The 22-year-old occupied the left half space perfectly and was exceptional with his passing as well, achieving an accuracy of 92 per cent.
Appearances | Goals | Assists |

He scored the only goal for his side, which came against the run of play and seemed to be the only one trying to make things happen for the visitors.
Martin will be thrilled with his signing and hopefully, he can continue to put in such performances in the league as well.

Jefte lets Rangers down against Viktoria
Jefte made a huge blunder, which led to the hosts opening the scoring before half-time.
The ball was played in behind and the Brazilian had to use his strength to shield the ball away from Amar Memic.
However, the left-back made a complete mess of it and fell to the floor, which saw Memic set up Rafiu Durosinmi for a goal.
Jefte was also ineffective going forward and was caught out of position on a number of occasions in the game.
