Rangers to complete multi-million ‘record transfer’ as Oliver Antman bid accepted
Rangers are close to signing Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles this transfer window.
The Gers have added eight players to their squad so far and are looking to bolster their options further with the Finland international.
Antman’s move to Ibrox could be announced soon, with the Eredivisie outfit accepting a £3million bid from the Light Blues.
Kevin Thelwell has been working on a deal with Go Ahead for some time now, and further details of the financial agreement have emerged.

Antman transfer to cost Rangers £5.2m+ after add-ons
Antman will leave Go Ahead for the Gers in a “record transfer”, according to Sander Janssen.
The Voetbal International journalist revealed on X (2 August) that the Light Blues will pay more than £5.2million, including add-ons, for the 23-year-old.
It’s been claimed that the Dutch club have also included an unspecified sell-on percentage in the deal for the Finnish winger’s move to Ibrox.

The Glaswegian outfit lost a lot of quality from their attack at the end of last season, and have certainly done a lot to address it.
Mikey Moore signed on loan from Tottenham after Djeidi Gassama had already arrived from Sheffield Wednesday.
The emergence of Findlay Curtis also bodes well for the Light Blues’ attacking prospects for the current campaign.

Russell Martin will hope to have Antman at Ibrox soon
Russell Martin was fuming after the Motherwell fixture on Saturday (2 August) as the Glaswegian outfit drew 1-1 at Fir Park.
Rangers have faltered in the opening game of the Scottish Premiership for three consecutive seasons, and the former Southampton boss arguably has a lot of work to do.
Kieran Dowell can’t continue to be in Martin’s plans for this season, with the Englishman struggling against the Steelmen.
Antman’s creative spark and keen eye for an assist will undoubtedly help the Scottish manager give the Gers a cutting edge in the final third once he signs.
