Mikey Moore’s loan to Rangers delayed even though Tottenham deal has now been confirmed
Rangers have finalised the signing of Tottenham forward Mikey Moore on a season-long loan deal.
Russell Martin was keen on bringing in another goal scorer and Moore, 17, arrives at Ibrox highly regarded.
Having come up the ranks at Spurs, he made his senior debut for them last year and has since become a squad player for the first team.

Moore’s move to Rangers now subject to international clearance
Gers announced the signing of the English forward on Friday morning, with him joining without an option to buy.
According to Four Lads Had a Dream (1 August), this deal is being slightly delayed as it is subject to international clearance.
As he’s under the age of 18, the deal will take longer to be finalised than it would normally.
However, this is not expected to cause any issues and Moore will play for Rangers in the 2025/26 season.
Martin must instantly get the best out of Moore
Martin can effectively utilise Moore at Rangers by deploying the 17-year-old Tottenham loanee as a versatile attacking midfielder or winger, leveraging his pace, dribbling and goal-scoring instincts to unlock defences in the Scottish Premiership.
The English attacker thrives in possession-based systems like Martin’s, which emphasises fluid movement and quick transitions.

Positioning Moore in a free-roaming No. 10 role or on the left wing, where he can cut inside onto his stronger right foot, would maximise his ability to create and finish chances.
Martin should encourage the Spurs youngster to exploit spaces behind defences, combining with the Ibrox outfit’s full-backs and forwards to form dangerous attacking patterns.
Regular game time will be crucial to building his confidence, while tactical guidance on defensive pressing will align him with Martin’s high-intensity philosophy.
By fostering a supportive environment, Martin can harness Moore’s raw talent, transforming him into a key contributor in Rangers’ pursuit of domestic and European success.
Fans will hope he can remain fit and contribute regularly as well.
