Moore transfer to Rangers ‘pretty close’ after Tottenham talks in last 48 hours
Rangers may be on the verge of signing Mikey Moore this transfer window after facing issues with Tottenham.
The 17-year-old is considered one of the brightest prospects in the Premier League after a breakthrough season in North London.
Moore is a concrete target at Ibrox, and the Light Blues are considered favourites to pull off a deal.
Russell Martin could finally have the Spurs youngster at the Glaswegian outfit, but they had to work hard on completing the transfer.

Rangers spent last 48 hours convincing Tottenham for Moore transfer
Tottenham weren’t sure whether the Gers were the right fit for Moore, David Friel says.
The Scottish Sun journalist revealed that the Light Blues spent the last 48 hours convincing Spurs that a move to Ibrox would be perfect for the 17-year-old.
Friel believes the Glaswegian outfit will be getting an impressive talent on their hands, with the North London outfit’s former manager Ange Postecoglou highly rating the English forward.

The journalist wrote in The Scottish Sun (29 July): “It’s pretty close. I think the issue Rangers had in the last 48 hours was just convincing Spurs that Ibrox was the right place for him to go to.
“Spurs until eight hours ago weren’t entirely sure whether they wanted the young lad to go out on loan anywhere, he’s so highly rated. He’s only 17, there will be a lot of expectations, a lot of pressure.
“You just look at the testimonies about him, his ability, Postecoglou rates him so highly.”

Findlay Curtis and Djeidi Gassama on their toes at Ibrox
Findlay Curtis proved his worth against Panathinaikos with a superb strike to give the Gers the lead in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier on 22 July.
The 18-year-old could potentially be the first name on the team sheet under Martin if he continues to perform similarly.
Djeidi Gassama also had a perfect debut at Ibrox, and the supporters will be excited to see what he can do after his move from Sheffield Wednesday.
If Rangers do sign Moore from Tottenham, there will be more competition for places in the starting lineup, which will only bode well for the Scottish manager.
The 17-year-old became the youngest player to make his debut for Spurs in the Premier League last season in the 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
There’s no denying the England youth international’s talent, and the Gers can offer him European football to further develop.
