Ridvan Yilmaz angry at Ibrox as Rangers to green light £2.6m transfer
Ridvan Yilmaz is fuming at Rangers as an exit from Ibrox could soon materialise this transfer window.
The left-back seems to be out of Russell Martin’s plans at the Gers after being left out of the Champions League squad to face Panathinaikos.
It looks like the Scottish manager prefers a different option on the left side of defence, but Max Aarons did struggle against the Greek outfit in the first leg at home on 22 July.
The Turkish defender’s stint at the Glaswegian outfit appears to be coming to an end, as he isn’t pleased with recent developments.

Rangers want £2.6m as Yilmaz angry after losing jersey number at Ibrox
Yilmaz is angry at being overlooked at the Gers ahead of next season and with his jersey number being given to Aarons, according to Fanatik.
The news outlet reports (26 July) that the 24-year-old has given Besiktas the green light to sign him from Ibrox in the ongoing transfer window.

It’s been claimed that the Light Blues are looking to receive around £2.6million from the Turkey international’s sale, with the Istanbul club expected to initiate talks soon.
The left-back is right to seek an exit from the Glaswegian outfit this summer as he seems to have no future in G51 under the new management.

Jefte future also uncertain at Ibrox
While Yilmaz’s return to Besiktas looks to be on the cards, Jefte is another player who may soon be unsettled at the Gers.
With Aarons playing as a left-back against Panathinaikos, it will be interesting to see how the Brazilian defender’s situation develops at Ibrox.
The 21-year-old was attracting interest from Premier League giants Chelsea in the winter transfer window, and will arguably expect to be a regular starter at the Glaswegian outfit.
Rangers could potentially risk losing Jefte as well this summer if the defender isn’t guaranteed minutes under Martin.
The Scottish manager seems to prefer playing Aarons as an inverted full-back, as has been seen during the pre-season friendlies and in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier.
Yilmaz’s departure feels certain at this point, but if Jefte also follows him through the doors, Martin will definitely need reinforcements.
