Rangers transfer for Rak-Sakyi at risk of collapse after development away from Ibrox
Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi could potentially be forced to stay at Selhurst Park this transfer window amid interest from Rangers.
Russell Martin wants the ex-Sheffield United ace at the Gers before the end of August as he looks for attacking reinforcements in G51.
A loan offer from the Glaswegian outfit is on the table for Rak-Sakyi at Selhurst Park, but the Eagles want to sell him permanently.
The Premier League outfit’s plans to cash in on the 22-year-old may be off, though, after what happened on Friday.

Rak-Sakyi injury may hinder potential Rangers transfer
Rak-Sakyi picked up an injury as Palace beat Crawley Town 3-0 in a friendly on 25 July.
The English forward came on as a substitute in the 64th minute but was forced off the pitch just before full time after going down for treatment at the Broadfield Stadium.
While the severity of the knock isn’t known yet, and the 22-year-old walked off the pitch on his own, a lengthy spell on the sidelines may hinder or collapse a potential move to Ibrox.

The Gers have already signed Djeidi Gassama from Sheffield Wednesday, but they arguably need more additions up front.
Kieran Dowell started on the right-wing for the Light Blues against Panathinaikos in the 2-0 win at home on 22 July in the Champions League qualifier, but the 27-year-old shouldn’t be a starter in G51.
The Glaswegian outfit need a replacement for Vaclav Cerny on the right side of attack, and Rak-Sakyi could be the right fit.

Martin should pursue alternative targets if Rak-Sakyi transfer falls through
Martin could lose Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers in the ongoing transfer window, making attacking additions an evident priority for the Gers.
Rangers should push for Rak-Sakyi’s transfer in the coming weeks, but if it falls through, then alternate targets should be pursued.
The outgoings from Ibrox will undoubtedly determine the number of players the Light Blues may need to sign up front before the end of August.
Hopefully, Rak-Sakyi’s apparent knock isn’t serious and the Glaswegian outfit will be able to sign him soon.
