Rangers last-minute preview v Panathinaikos: How to watch, weather update and injury news
Russell Martin faces his first competitive assignment as Rangers boss as his side prepare to take on Panathinaikos in a Champions League qualifier.
The Gers welcome the Greek giants to Ibrox on Tuesday (22 July) night for the first leg of what is shaping up to be a mouthwatering clash.
Martin has had a limited amount of time to assess the Rangers squad since taking over the reins earlier in the summer, but he has already been busy in the transfer market, with seven new faces coming through the door ahead of their crucial qualifying tie.
With the Govan outfit’s European campaign set to get underway in just a few hours’ time, Ibrox News provides a last-minute preview of what will be a vital night.

Postponement out of the question as Rangers prepare
Rangers would have had brief concerns about the tie potentially getting postponed, after the Met Office issued a two-day weather warning across England and Scotland across Sunday (20 July) and Monday (21 July).
Martin and Co. will undoubtedly have been desperate for the game to go ahead, and there is now seemingly no concern surrounding the ability to get the game on.
The Met Office are now suggesting that it will be a rain-free evening at Ibrox, with conditions set fair for the crucial clash.
A postponement never truly seemed a genuine possibility, but the Gers will be glad to now see that any possibility of the game not going ahead has faded away.

How to watch Rangers v Panathinaikos?
Martin’s first competitive game in charge of Rangers has the potential to be a season-defining 90 minutes for the new boss and his team, and UK fans will be able to watch every second on Premier Sports.
TNT Sports and Sky Sports subcribers can add the channels to their existing package, while Premier Sports is available to purchase for anybody through Amazon Prime for £15.99 per month.
Their coverage of the Panathinaikos clash will begin at 7:15pm, and it is also available to watch on Rangers TV, where fans can pay £9.99 to stream the game live.

Rangers injury news – Aasgaard the only concern
Rangers have been facing interest in several of their key players in recent weeks, but they have managed to reach the first leg of the tie without a high-profile figure heading for the exit.
Martin is expected to hand out several competitive debuts when he names the starting XI to take on Panathinaikos, but the game could come too soon for one new arrival.
Thelo Aaasgaard was not spotted at Rangers’ training session on Monday (21 July), and that will surely see him as the primary injury concern as we head towards kick-off.
The midfielder had previously been described as “touch and go” by his boss, but now it seems unlikely that he will play a part.
