5 Rangers wonderkids to watch in 2025/26 – Rice, Curtis and more
Rangers have a history of producing fine young talents who then go on to have illustrious professional careers.
With Russell Martin in charge, a number of the academy players will be licking their lips at the prospect of being integrated into the senior side.
The 2025/26 season could see a number of teenagers get their chance to prove their worth under Martin’s stewardship at Ibrox.

Here are five Rangers wonderkids to look out for in the 2025/26 season:
Bailey Rice – Central Midfielder
Rice at 18 has already shown why he can be the midfield anchor for a number of seasons.
He has already made his senior debut for Rangers and has put in impressive displays.
The teenager has already captained the Scotland Under-17s side and has shown his maturity while playing for the first team as well.

Josh Gentles – Forward
Gentles has earned widespread acclaim for how he’s led the line for the Gers youth teams.
He even bagged the decisive goal in the Scottish Youth Cup final against Aberdeen and won Man of the Match in that one.
The 17-year-old also has had a successful loan spell at Alloa Athletic where he proved he’s ready for senior football.
Findlay Curtis – Attacking Midfielder
Curtis is an attacking midfielder who’s also capable of dazzling from the left flank.
He has been lauded for his composure and goal-scoring prowess, bagging a hat-trick in the Glasgow Cup against Partick Thistle and a brace in the SPFL Trust Trophy against Stenhousemuir.
Curtis has made his European debut as well for Rangers and is one worth watching in the upcoming season.

Jack Harkness – Right-back
Harkness, a 21-year-old full-back, has shown plenty of promise despite facing injury issues.
He has impressed for the B team and also proved his worth on loan at Greenock Morton and Stirling Albion.
The defender has represented Scotland at the Under-19s level and aims to make it to the first team at Ibrox.
Pre season may be a good time for Martin to gauge if he’s ready for senior football.
Mason Munn – Goalkeeper
Munn has emerged as a top prospect in the academy, showcasing his worth as an 18-year-old.
The Northern Ireland Under-19 international has already made his senior debut and appears to be the future number one for Rangers.
He recently penned a four-year deal and his 6ft 4in frame will certainly make him a standout shot stopper for years to come.
