‘Rangers outgoings needed’ to fund Rak-Sakyi transfer at Ibrox
Rangers potentially have a lot of work to do to sign Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi this transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger spent last season on loan at Sheffield United and almost helped them win promotion to the Premier League.
Rak-Sakyi has now emerged as a target at Ibrox, with the Light Blues looking to bolster their attack ahead of next season.
The Glaswegian outfit have already signed Djeidi Gassama from Sheffield Wednesday, but are continuing to monitor the market for more forwards.

Palace fee may determine whether Rangers need to raise funds for permanent Rak-Sakyi transfer
Joshua Barrie wonders what sort of movement the Gers will make this summer in terms of outgoings to possibly raise funds to sign Rak-Sakyi.
The Scottish journalist ponders what sort of fee Palace will ask for the English winger and whether the Light Blues will need to sanction a few exits at Ibrox for his permanent transfer.
Emmanuel Fernandez, Joe Rothwell, Thelo Aasgaard, and Gassama have cost a significant sum at the Glaswegian outfit, and it remains to be seen how much more they will be able to invest without selling some of their players.

Speaking on The Rangers Review (16 July), Barrie said: “Rak-Sakyi is a left-footed player who operates off the right. This isn’t an entirely new link. There’s been interest from Rangers for a while. But what type of fee will Palace ask for?
“What other movement is there in terms of outgoings for Rangers to perhaps raise funds for a deal like that if it were to be a permanent transfer?”
Russell Martin could use Rak-Sakyi transfer at Ibrox
Russell Martin will be delighted with Findlay Curtis’ performances during pre-season, as the 18-year-old has been playing a significant number of minutes recently.
The Scottish youngster has been deployed on the right side of attack but is more naturally suited to play on the other wing.
Similarly, Oscar Cortes and Gassama should ideally play on the left wing, but the Gers don’t have a quality option on the right.
Rangers want Samuel Edozie from Southampton, but Rak-Sayki may be the better fit for them as he’s left-footed.
Vaclav Cerny was influential for the Light Blues in the previous campaign, and they arguably need a quality replacement for him.
The Glaswegian outfit could still do with a few more transfers this summer, but it remains to be seen whether funds will need to be raised before further incomings arrive.
