Rangers masterclass as 49ers hailed for latest transfer swoop – ‘A real steal’
Rangers have been making waves in the summer transfer window.
The Light Blues have already recruited seven new players in an effort to surpass their rivals Celtic this season.
What’s more, it looks more new arrivals will be announced soon.
In fact, their latest piece of transfer business has been praised as “a real steal” by a Football League expert.

Hendrie describes Gassama transfer as a bargain for Rangers
Djeidi Gassama looks set to become Rangers’ latest signing.
The deal is as good as done, although some administrative issues at his club Sheffield Wednesday have delayed the process.
Lee Hendrie, a Sky Sports pundit, has expressed his surprise at the transfer fee involved with this deal. Rangers are expected to pay around £2.5million.
In an interview with Football League World (12 July), Hendrie suggested that this was a great deal for the Glasgow club.
He said: “When you’re selling players for £2.5 million these days, it’s a real steal, particularly with players that have got potential and that’s what [Gassama] has.”
Though Rangers have significantly higher funds than their rivals in the Scottish Premiership, they’ve still had to search for bargains.
It’s likely they got a good deal on Gassama due to the financial turmoil surrounding Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls have been unable to pay their players on time this year and are in desperate need of financial stimulus.

Rangers’ recruitment team deserve praise for transfer business
From the moment Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises completed their takeover, it was expected that Rangers would be busy in the transfer window.
Nevertheless, they should be praised for their speed and efficiency when landing transfer targets.
By the time the SPL season starts, the Rangers team may look unrecognisable compared to last season. That might be what’s needed when you consider how far they finished behind Celtic.

The signing of Gassama should be highly praised, assuming it is completed.
The Mauritania-born winger is only 21 years old and has the potential to become an important Rangers player for many years to come.
Gassama is pacy and has a rocket of a shot with his right foot. He offers something different to the wingers at Ibrox. It would be exciting to see him strut his stuff in a Rangers shirt this season.
