Rangers news round-up: Toffolo to clear medical, Butland exit latest
Rangers face a pivotal summer ahead of the new season.
Russell Martin has begun the process of rebuilding his squad, but there is still a long way to go to compete with arch-rivals Celtic, who finished 17 points ahead last time out.
He may still have to find replacements for exit-linked stars such as Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers, and more first-team stars could depart.
Here, Ibrox News rounds up the latest Gers reports from July 10.

Rangers make ruthless Cifuentes exit decision
Jose Cifuentes could leave Rangers, after spending last season away from Ibrox on loan.
A report from Diario Expreso (10 July) claims that the Light Blues are willing to terminate the 26-year-old’s contract.
It states that the Ecuadorian ace could return to Major League Soccer but may also decide to stay in European football.
Rangers can seal a cut-price Kamara deal
Rangers could seal a cut-price deal for Abu Kamara.
A report from Sky Sports News (10 July) claims that the Gers could make a move for the Hull City winger, who notched five goals and three assists last season.
It states that a deal could be reached at a lower price due to the financial problems that the Championship outfit are facing.

Toffolo to clear medical as Rangers plot move
Rangers have been linked with Harry Toffolo, who featured just four times for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last season.
The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving the City Ground at the end of the season and could reunite with Martin.
Dr Rajpal Brar believes that he would have no issues with a medical, speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, he said: “He’s not suffered significant injuries in recent seasons, which is always impressive.
“I see him facing no issues in clearing his medical.
“His game time last season was far from ideal, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll be at a higher risk of injury if he plays regularly.”
Rangers exit set for Butland after transfer update
Jack Butland could be set to leave Rangers this summer, after an underwhelming campaign last time out.
A report from the Daily Record (10 July) claims that the Gers are eyeing a move for Brighton goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.
It states that Butland could move on if the former Swansea stopper, who worked with Martin in South Wales, joins the Gers, as he will not want to be number two.
