Russell Martin is keen on signing a new striker given the upheaval in the first-team squad this summer.

While there have been multiple transfers completed, they’re still keen on bringing in more names through the door.

Rangers should sign Vardy in the coming weeks

Vardy undoubtedly would be a transformative signing for Rangers due to his proven goal-scoring prowess, experience and leadership.

Despite his age, Vardy’s 200 goals in 500 appearances for Leicester City, including a Premier League title and FA Cup, showcase his enduring quality.

His relentless work rate, sharp movement, and clinical finishing make him a quality option in attack, capable of thriving in the Scottish Premiership.

Vardy’s desire for regular game time aligns with Rangers’ need for a reliable striker, especially with potential departures like Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers.

His Champions League experience could bolster the Gers’ European ambitions under Russell Martin.

As a free agent, Vardy represents a low-risk, high-reward signing, bringing veteran presence and fan appeal to Ibrox, potentially becoming a cult hero while mentoring younger players
