‘Thelo Aasgaard joins Rangers’ as Luton images emerge on social media
Rangers are expected to announce the signing of Thelo Aasgaard imminently.
The 23-year-old will join the Ibrox club after a deal, reportedly worth around £4million, was agreed with League One club Luton Town.
Aasgaard will become Rangers’ sixth signing of the summer following Emmanuel Fernandez, Joe Rothwell and Max Aarons, as well as official confirmation of Lyall Cameron and Oscar Cortes.

Ian Abrahams shares Aasgaard move
Aasgaard joined Luton from Wigan in January, but could not do anything to prevent the Hatters’ relegation to League One.
A creative midfielder, the Norwegian international enjoyed a promising first half of the season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
His arrival is expected to strengthen Russell Martin’s options in midfield, with the 23-year-old keen to make an impact in the Scottish Premiership.

An announcement of the deal should arrive very soon, after Ian Abrahams appeared to confirm the playmaker has joined Rangers.
Speaking on X, the talkSPORT broadcaster told a fan that the move has gone through, after posting a picture of himself in attendance at Luton’s pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood on Saturday.
Rangers are not expected to stop there in the transfer market, with moves for Conor Coady and Nasser Djiga said to be in the works.
Aasgaard could be a difference-maker for Rangers
Aasgaard has already made his debut for the Norwegian national team, scoring a goal and providing an assist against Moldova in March.
The midfielder should give Rangers fans plenty of exciting moments, with technical ability to beat his man and a powerful strike that can see the net bulge from just about anywhere around the box.
While tall, Aasgaard possesses a touch that can see even the most powerfully struck passes killed on arrival, and he uses that frame effectively, capable of using his body to turn his defender instantly.
With the ball at his feet, Aasgaard is deceivingly quick, opponents often left chasing shadows as he charges towards the box.
Naturally, the 23-year-old’s style attracts numerous fouls, making it all the more important that the Norwegian can find the net from a free-kick.
All the signs are very exciting.
