Che Adams sends message as Rangers transfer officially announced
Rangers have continued to bolster Russell Martin’s squad ahead of the new campaign.
Martin was appointed at Ibrox on 5 June and the Gers have already started putting the pieces in place for him to succeed.
Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez have been signed, and that is expected to be just the start in terms of the Light Blues’ business.
The Ibrox outfit are trying to close the 17-point gap to arch-rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, and they need multiple new additions to have any chance of doing that.

Adams reacts as Rothwell signing confirmed
Rangers confirmed the signing of Bournemouth star Rothwell on 2 July after he spent last season on loan at sister club Leeds United.
The 30-year-old, after the move was announced, wrote on Instagram: “Time to get to work, the beginning of an exciting new opportunity, can’t wait to get going.”
Che Adams and Arsenal star David Raya both responded, with the Torino striker posting a clapping hands emoji in the comments.
Rangers could sign Adams
The Bears are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements with the likes of Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane set to exit.
Arguably their best player last season, Vaclav Cerny, has already departed after the expiry of his loan deal from Wolfsburg, so they must add a goalscorer this summer.

Martin’s side have been linked with the likes of Jamie Vardy and David Brooks, but Adams could represent a good signing, depending on the potential fee.
The former Southampton star notched nine goals and three assists for Torino in 36 appearances in Serie A last season and would likely be a prolific striker for the Gers, if they could sign him.
Adams worked with Martin on the South Coast, and so far, he has brought players that he is familiar with to Govan, with Aarons playing alongside him and Rothwell playing under him in the past.
The 49ers and Andrew Cavenagh, the new majority owners in G51, need to make ambitious signings and Adams would certainly represent that, if they could prise him away from the Italian side.
Whether the fee would represent a stumbling block remains to be seen, but it would be a fantastic addition and could help them achieve Champions League football.
