Thelo Aasgaard ‘exit-bound’ as Rangers launch transfer move

Rangers are reportedly keen on securing the services of Luton Town midfielder Thelo Aasgaard this summer.

Lyall Cameron and Joe Rothwell have both completed their moves, but Gers are still keen on another player in that role.

After Luton’s relegation to League One, Aasgaard, an attacking midfielder, has popped up on their radar.

Thelo Aasgaard deal could move quickly

After signing Emmanuel Fernandez and Rothwell, Gers are not slowing down their pursuit on the transfer front.

According to Rangers Review’s Joshua Barrie (2 July), there are still expected to be multiple additions to the side.

A deal to sign Aasgaard has been mooted to move quickly from here, as he appears to be keen on leaving Luton.

Last season, the Denmark international played 24 games in League One, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

He then moved to Luton and found the back of the net twice in 17 league matches and he even added an assist to his name.

Rangers must make a move imminently to sign Aasgaard

Aasgaard would be a stellar signing for Rangers and they’ve got to make a move for him.

In recent days, they have moved swiftly in order to bring in new players and are expected to do the same for the Norway international.

Aasgard’s career in numbers.

He recently made his debut for the Nordic nation and managed to find the back of the net in that game.

At 23, he’s showcased his talent, especially at Wigan, and appears tailor-made to be a good fit at Ibrox.

Martin’s knowledge of the English leagues certainly will come in handy and he’s likely to be the one orchestrating this move.

Opening talks is one thing, but actually launching a bid is another, so it’s time Gers put an offer on the table to sign Aasgaard.
