Rangers transfer round-up: David Brooks door opens as multi-million deal close
Rangers have already started making waves in the transfer market.
The Gers have already brought in three players, Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez, ahead of the new campaign.
However, with their Champions League qualification journey weeks from starting against Panathinaikos at Ibrox, more work needs to be done.
The Govan outfit still needs to strengthen Russell Martin‘s squad significantly after a dismal season last time out under Philippe Clement and then interim boss Barry Ferguson.
Here, Ibrox News rounds up the latest transfer stories from 3 July.

It states that the Scottish Premiership outfit face competition but are currently the favourite to secure the Burkina Faso international on a temporary deal.

Rangers move for Vardy mooted as Martin praised
Rangers have been constantly linked with Jamie Vardy since he announced that he would be leaving Leicester City.
Former BBC reporter Bobby Nwanze praised Martin and thinks the Premier League legend could join the Gers on a free transfer.
In a post on his personal X account (3 July), he said: “Huge credit to the Rangers manager for the brilliant work in the transfer market this summer. We want more signings…Coady and Vardy….
“Vardy icing on the cake? You can see there’s a clear plan to strengthen the squad and push for trophies. Buzzing to see how it all unfolds.”
Rangers could sign Brooks after door opens
Rangers could reunite Martin and David Brooks, who played under the Bears manager at Southampton.
A report from Sky Sports (3 July) claims that the door has now opened for the Gers to bring Brooks to Scotland.
It states that the collapse of his potential move to West Brom could lead to a switch to the Auchenhowie side.
It would be the third player signed from Bournemouth this window, after the arrivals of Aarons and Rothwell from the Cherries.
