An American consortium led by Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises became the majority owners this summer and are keen on keeping the talented youngsters at the club.

Russell Martin also joined under the new hierarchy and he has a monumental task on his hands in the coming weeks.

Rangers are rightly prioritising youth development

Rangers new owners are doing the right thing prioritising youth development

The new Rangers owners are wisely prioritising youth development to ensure long-term success.

With a £20million investment, their focus on the academy as the lifeblood of the club is the right approach.

By emphasising structured loans to competitive leagues and integrating prospects like Findlay Curtis into the first team, Rangers are fostering a sustainable pipeline of homegrown players, reducing reliance on expensive transfers.

This approach, backed by Martin’s expertise in player improvement, aligns with financial realities, as the club reported a £17million loss in 2024.

Avoiding costly, injury-prone signings like Danilo, the Ibrox outfit are building a competitive, youthful squad for Scottish and European success.
